The Outlaw (Vlog 2.4)
Posted Oct 25, 2007 - 12:31:55

So, it turns out, I've been breaking the law for years, and didn't know it. I found out in the most unfortunate way: by getting busted for it. Loads of unfortunate details (and an opportunity to laugh at me quite a bit) within the video... I promise.
Music in this entry is brief, but if you didn't know, it's the Happy Wednesday track "Ride of the Belkies." I do apologize for the low quality of the video - I wanted to save time making it, so rather than have to process the sound like I do when I use the laptop (which eats up more time in editing than you guys know) I used my old Digital Camera... and totally forgot that I needed to check the lighting beforehand. Ah well, the little things we forget some days...

The story in this video is totally true, and I have a court date on the fourth of December in Whitehall (just down the street from where I work) to deal with it. I know that ignorance is no excuse for the law, but I'm crossing my fingers hoping that whatever judge hears the case takes pity on me (and my total lack of knowledge of Wisconsin drivers license regulations). Needless to say, I have corrected my mistake though, so any time you see me hop into a car from now on, all will be kosher.

Yah, I feel stupid by the way. On the upside, I had already planned to work from home these last couple of days, so taking the time off to get down to the DMV wasn't that hard to do. On the downside, that means I have quite a bit of work to get done today. I may just burn the midnight oil and pretend I'm in college again to get this stuff done, but such is life and the things we do to finish what we must are our own burdens to carry.

Or something.

This weekend we'll be shooting a new Squashing of America with the usual crowd after this year's Gothtober Fest party at Topher's. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, the Squashing of America is where we go out and give fresh produce to drunk people on water street. Well, that's the theory, and what happened in the first two installments, in the third, we ended up just going out there and talking to them (we got out there too late to buy any produce). I've been involved since the second Squashing (the first one was a venture of the now closed 1337porn.net), and if you need to review, you can see the second and third installments online.

That's the greatest story ever, Traegorn. Ever.
Trae, you are my most favorite outlaw ever.
that's quite special. the paneling in the background amuses me. really.
The panelling is all over the second floor of the Zombie House.  The actually neat thing about this room is the floor to ceiling windows you can't see in that shot...
oo ah, oo ah, etc.
