did you do something to your web page? I miss the new post thingy...
I did take that off the header -- there's been some weirdness with it logging people in and out, so I figured it would be better to ditch the box.

Well I officially now have a table at both Geek.kon and Daisho -- looks like I'll still be able to do all of my Wisconsin cons this year.

Now just to hear back from InCONjunction... geh.

I'm just glad to be at a con in August. I was SUPPOSED to go to Power Morphicon in Pasadena, but life kinda got in the way and it no longer became affordable. But on the upside, my girlfriend lives 20 minutes away from Geek.Kon (which is on the exact same weekend as PMC), so I don't have to spend any money on hotel roomage. I might actually start buying some of the Crosarth books. Wink

We shall see if I can attend anything this year.

also I've been needing to rant.
Of all the stupid things I have heard or seen being proposed by christians this one takes the cake.
Apparently the earth is not orbiting the sun... or rotating...
*FACEPALM*
GOSH DAMMIT!
Suddenly why am I the one being stared at like a crazy person when I'm bringing up hard scientific fact?!?!?!
My wife is the only one who knows that I no longer put my faith in the bible because I'm afraid of other peoples reactions. yep you heard me. They present a solid case for how the bible says the earth cannot be moving through space.
It kind of had the opposite of the desired effect on me...
I still show upon Sundays and record their messages, but its now just a thing I do.
I have no fraking idea how to proceed at this point and this is the only site I feel safe even saying this!
end rant
(see Trae you removed the top log in thing and now I never post except in outlandish post)

So in a debate about gay marriage.
They keep saying that if they open the door to gay marriage, that they might as well open the door to multiples wives.
now question, Is this a strawman argument?

Hey Trae,

Do you why women always cancel dates at the last minute? I thought I'd ask a guy who did a Nerd dating panel for a few years.

If someone cancels it's for whatever reasons that individual had. There's no blanket advice I can give you.

Most super heroes nowadays don't wear capes. They get in the way. notice that the Avengers in the last movie didn't wear capes.

Crap I forgot about him. I never read his comics and a part doesn't see him as a super hero. But that's just me. Still most super heroes don't wear a cape, they get in the way.

When it comes to pies, you can't beat a nice Apple and rhubarb pie. What sucks is that those usually appear in the early parts of fall.

Rhubarb? Rhubarb is the most disgusting thing ever.

People who make pies involving rhubarb are the devil.
