Happy Wednesday - Ride of the Belkies

Description: "Ride of the Belkies" off of (my group) Happy Wednesday's online album "This Side of Awful." The melody (obviously) comes from Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries," and with the exception of the drum beat, all sounds heard in this song are produced by the human voice.
The footage used in the music video comes from the serials "Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe" Episode 1 and "Zorro's Fighting Legion" Episode 9. I recorded this song in an evening, after deciding it was perfect to fill the spot "Don't Leave Dead Birds Hanging From a Tree" left when it was dropped from the album. |
