Hello Campus Community.

My name is Evan Perrault. I am running for City Council so I can gain practical experience in local government affairs. Later in life when I become a journalist I would like to take what I learn from my tenure as Alderman and apply it to my reporting.

I feel that it is important for a journalist to be familiar with what they are reporting, and by serving as a City Council member I will become very familiar with the way city and local government works.

Unlike many other candidates, I don't have a long laundry list of priorities that I wish to carry out when in office. I want to be your delegate and your internal link to the City. It will be your ideas and your ideas only that I will take to the Council.
