It's hard to come up with unique blog titles.
Posted Apr 9, 2010 - 09:20:59

Back Window I'm serious, I've been writing this blog since 2001, and you have no idea how many times I've started typing a title to a blog entry only to realize that I used that once back in 2003 or something. I'm pretty sure I've never repeated myself exactly in the headline, although I might be wrong about that. I don't feel like digging through the archives and checking though.

That's a lot of entries.

It's strange sometimes to go through, as the person I was in 2001 when I started this blog is a very different person than I am in 2010. I've occasionally gone through random old entries and just been befuddled as to why I said certain things (or even what I was talking about, as I am often vague in my discussions of more personal issues). Likewise, it's strange to think that when I started this blog the first No Brand Con was still a year away. It's been such a large part of my adult life, it's odd to think of what things were like beforehand.

It boggles my mind even more when I think that the first version of this page (before I bought the domain name even) was launched almost 14 years ago. That's almost half of my life that I've been throwing things online.

It's at that point that I start feeling old.

But I digress, severely. I've gone through dry spells where I didn't update for a month or so, and I've gone through times where I updated daily (if not moreso). In all, the last nine years has resulted in an average of around two updates a week. That's actually mildly scary.

Website rumination aside, this isn't even what I had planned on writing about today. I planned on writing about how busy my life is right now with wedding planning, moving, and the con all filling my time. I had planned to talk about how busy I am on a day to day basis. I planned to talk about just how frantic things are these days. But when I went to do so, I found myself unable to come up with a title that I hadn't used before to describe similar situations.

This leads me to believe that my being this busy is nothing new.
