I knew it was a Nissan. I was looking at your Daily Trae post and I was looking to see if it was a Nissan logo I saw. But since I didn't want to be the idiot to ask the question, I kept it to myself.
So what Year was is manufactured in? How many miles are on it at this point? What are you going nickname you car? |

Well, the Yaris is a Toyota -- which is why I said something.
It's a 2011 Versa, brand new. We bought it with 22 miles on it - five of which were put on with my test drive. We haven't decided on a nickname for it yet - but are trying to figure it out. _________________ Why aren't you reading UnCONventional (the awesome comic) yet? |

Then I'm going through my 2 pennies in there and suggest the Traemobile! Perhaps the Dornmobile so it's mutual in the amrriage. |

Meh - we like to give things more personal names.
For example:
My Escort is "Griz" (although it's recently acquired the moniker Gardenmobile)
The red van was "Ironhide" (aka Spaceship 3)
The 99 Saturn was "Nickbee"
The '89 Ninety-Eight I used to drive was "The Palindrome"
The 86 Grand Marquis was the "SS Esperanto" _________________ Why aren't you reading UnCONventional (the awesome comic) yet? |

Ya, know, I've never actually had a car with a name (other than several references to my Olds as "The Beast" and "The Classic")
I can think of one car that truly deserved its moniker, however... I wonder whatever happened to Recine's car. _________________ Club a gay, commie, atheist baby seal for Jesus!

Everyone else called my Taurus the "Shaggin Wagon" other wise I call them by one of the 12 apostles depending on mood. _________________ I glared at the monkey in the kitchen. Trae, I can beat you on mileage on a new car rolling off the lot. I drove off the lot with 14 miles. Granted mine's not a 2011 (it's a 2010!), but I do love my Elantra. And the bluetooth. One thing I thought I really wouldn't use has been awesome. Very good for my varied trips across to the state of WI.
Plus it's cute.
But congrats on the new car! |

So yeah been working out at snap fitness, and I'm surprised to discover that I'm really not comfortable working out with other people. Yes , Calvsie, who can do almost anything else in public with out caring, doesn't feel comfortable working out in public. Well tonight I actually left not because I was uncomfortable. but because I was angry. They waltzed in changed the one tv that was on (aka the one I was watching/listening to) to the football game then acted like It was my fault! _________________ I glared at the monkey in the kitchen. Why are you uncomfortable with working out in Public Calvsie? I sort of had that issue when I was a freshman in high school when the gym teacher made us go in the weight room since the gym was being used for a public speaker for the elementary kids. |

I don't know Langland, I totally understand why Calvsie feels self conscious in that situation. befu wrote: | Trae, I can beat you on mileage on a new car rolling off the lot. But congrats on the new car! | A Hyundai, huh? I've never driven one.
I'm satisfied with the line in on my stereo -- I can deal with not being wireless. Having a way to hook up an iPod (or in my case, a Palm Pre) to the stereo is a bit of a must in my book. _________________ Why aren't you reading UnCONventional (the awesome comic) yet? |

The bluetooth is for my phone. Hands free dialing. I have a USB port if I want to use my iPod or something of that nature. Plus a line in too. |

I too once had the issue but over time and constantly working out in the same environment slowly got rid of my uncomfortableness. |

Around town, I just don't answer my phone. _________________ Why aren't you reading UnCONventional (the awesome comic) yet? |

Trae I'm a bit disappointed about your avatar rules. I had to shrink this awesome image down to a point where you can barely see it's epicness. |

You never had a dog?
I have had a few. As of right now I live 4 dogs(actually 5 but my brother is taking it to Hawaii soon).
But seriously, dogs aren't that bad. My Chocolate Lab Max is coolest dog every. And the Scotty my mom has can litterally kick a big ol Lab's ass so he keeps the neighbor dogs away.
And my Rat Terriers are just plain stupid but they make me laugh because of it.
I think Max was the only dog I never used in my short live A Show with Langland series. |

This is the second year my brother has dogsat for someone at his school during Thanksgiving break. I told him he needs to start a new tradition where he brings a dog home for Thanksgiving every year. He said he might bring her for Christmas too. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE _________________ mrow *purr* |
