I can tell it from anything else. Too me, all electronic and computerized tunes are Techno. Including Techno.
It seems like Dubstep, electronica, and whatever stuff is all part of the Techno family |

I can because I hate dubstep and love electronica. I suppose all dubstep is electronica but not all electronica is dubstep? All I know is that dubstep has bizarre screeching, crashing, and thumping bass, all of which bother me a lot. I love synth-y sounding music, just not super jarring sound effects.
