I've never been a phone accessory person... So no. I also was upgrading from a Palm Pre Plus, so I would have been switching accessories anyways.

Good products. The entire iOS line is fairly solid.

(Cue Topher complaining)

I'm more Microsoft oriented. I get rather tired of Apple products being spoken like they aren't flawed. It's get annoying after a while. Hell no product is perfect, look at Toyota, everyone treated them like gods and suddenly their products started to fail.

Usually politics - because that effects things that actually matter.

Unlike, y'know, which phone you're using. Which is fairly unimportant in the scheme of things. Smile

For the record, I don't care what brand of products people use -- I just couldn't let a ridiculous statement sit. Razz

Well its official, The church I attend has split... over something so stupid and that I thought we were better than. Now I remember why I hate being affiliated with other "Christians".
Now who gets the soundman(aka me)?

A split? Over what?

I heard in Barron(the town not the county) in the 70's the Baptist church had a huge split now there 2 baptist churches. Ones for those that dance and those that don't. All over because some members went dancing in Hayward. And the big church was demolished and now a Subway sits on its spot.

So yea anyways what's the split over?

two elders who aren't getting a long and one basically pulled the other from preaching rotation without speaking to the the other elders and he refuses to apologies for this. Also presumably something to do with italics in the bible.

Is it silly this is the only place I feel I can talk about this?

I think Calvsie is frustrated that the only place that he can talk about issues with people in his church is on a forum run by a Wiccan.

Which is really because Calvsie needs to find a more moderate church. Razz

Ok so this is rather odd. I actually created a huge argument among people with a yahoo comment over my Great Great Grandpa. All I said was that i have been told by my dad who heard from his grandpa(my Great Grandpa) that my Great Great Grandpa had purple eyes.

In fact I heard a really weird story about it too.

Well I'm sure it was something like the Elizabeth Taylor deal. But the point is that was what I was told and according to my dad, his grandpa(My great grandpa), could even confirm it was him when my great great grandpa passed away too because of those eyes.

I heard the undertaker didn't close his eyes all the way and my great grandpa so a hint of his "purple eyes" so he knew for sure it was him.

This is a weird story and somewhat disturbing but that's what i have been told. But it's still funny how many people are arguing over something I can't really confirm outside of what my dad has told me.

So I'm being pestered to putsomething on our churches facebook page saying to vote for romney, To which I responded it was not our churches places to be telling people how to vote to which I was told it was my fault america is godless.

Also I'm being accused of being a separatist.... Which I think they don't know the meaning of.

Also I voted today, I liked your video, I'm home sick.

This weekend and the time change, on top of running 3 miles in the wet this morning are not agreeing with me.

Don't feel bad Calvsie. I guess the Diocese of Green Bay has a Bishop that sent some letter saying a vote for Obama would mean you're going to Hell. Well since the 3 churches in my church's cluster are part of the Diocese of Superior, we didn't get that message but the letter floated over to us and Republicans in the church are using it.

My Priest had to address it and say knock it off because the Church has no position to tell us who to vote for. In fact the Priest at my church was already address at the Shell Lake church that a couple was going to stop attending church because it got too Republican and they wouldn't return until the church do something about it.

So yea Calvsie don't feel bad. When you look at both sides, each party commits sins that Jesus nor the church would really approve of.

Good on you for standing up. Just a general reminder to go vote (without saying who for) would have been the thing to post.

It sucks your church isn't more open minded.

My church is more open minded than most in my opinion its more several individuals aren't so open minded.

I'm actually kinda glad to see the responses from my friends on facebook when I had my big "I give up" post.

Well I just did something ballzy in my opinion and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback too.

In my state district, we just elected a new Rep. over the incumbent who said some things about Rape. Well anyways I voted for this new guy who is a Democrat.

Now I sent him a letter that congratulates him on his victory also serves as a cover letter asking him if I could work on his staff as an aide. I included my resume with it.

I think that is very ballzy in my opinion and a lot of people said that was actually a good idea. Even my dad said it wasn't a bad idea.
